In July of 2008 the Lord told me to start blogging my daily devotions. It's now March of 2009.
(how quickly we respond)
But being the universal optimist that I am, I have faith that He is all knowing, and will assume that He knew it would take me nine months to get rolling and so told me nine months early to begin, so that I would be on time to launch in march (and if you believe this bit, there's a bridge you might be interested in too).
Did you know that the London bridge is actually in Arizona (true)
Conceived in july, birthed nine months later in march ..hummm
Well, this is obviously not a recount of my time with the Lord today, which was actually eaten alive by the time change from daylight savings, and which was later spent on a walk with my pastor, but it's a brief explanation of why there aren't 270 previous postings here to peruse. The more notable times with the Lord over the last nine months will of course need to be 'relived' and I will no doubt be the better for it.
The walk with my pastor was fruitful and even yielded some decent Italian food afterwards, which was made even better by the surprise of my daughter Nikki and grandson Manny who showed up just in time for pizza, lasagna, and spaghetti
Rachel called this morning from York England (bible school) and we talked unhurriedly about nothing in particular - just being together.
God is here with me and he says hi
